Hello!

 My name is Alyssa Ashley Thompson. I am 19 years old and the oldest of 5 kids.  I live in the good ole Clio, Michigan. I graduated in 2010 and did not have a clue what I was doing or where God wanted me. God showed his way though. I decided not to go to school my first year I just wanted to work and continue to pray and ask God to lead me where he wanted me. I worked as a waitress at Bob Evans restraint and loved it. A lot of people asked me why I didn’t go to school my first year and to be honest it was one of the questions I dreaded answering. Only close friends and family knew my true reasoning for not going to school. So when people asked I said God is still leading me.  My true reasoning was really because I didn’t know where God wanted me but there is more to it. I went through a lot throughout high school. My first year of high school my whole family excluding my dad (who was working at the time) was in a major car accident my younger brother and sisters were injured and I was included. My brother got a concussion my sister broke her eyebrow bone and had a concussion as well and my 12 year old sister and I were injured the worst. My sister was thrown from the car and ended up in the middle of the street Lord willing she got up and walked off. I broke my neck along with a few other injuries. My sister and I had a lot of problems after this accident that continued through high school. I can honestly say it felt like I never got a break to just be a kid so taking a year off of school seemed as if it would help in a way. I also went through a lot of family struggle through high school I was emotionally drained. I went to a Christian high school where we heard all the time to trust in God he knows best and I never listened .I am so thankful that I didn’t go to school I learned so much about life and not only life but about God my relationship grew so much during this time . I do plan on going to a Christian college although I do not know what one quite yet. I am still praying and I know God will lead me.

 On a different note I will share a few things about me. I love people it is my biggest passion I love getting to know people and doing things for people. I have a huge heart when it comes to people and me thank God for that. I am defiantly not a shy person I never have been even when I was little I would speak my mind. This whole not being shy thing came in handy in high school where I was a cheerleader all four years and LOVED it. I miss it so much but on the bright side I was asked to assistant coach for the school I cheered for even though that was a cool experience I still would rather have been cheering instead of teaching it. I also love to sing, I sing all day long sometimes I even sing my sentences. I never knew I loved to sing in front of people until I got up in front of church and sang a solo and what an awesome feeling that was . I should probably warn you that I am weird or so people say I am so just a heads up. We will be spending lots of time together so be prepared J
