It's important to include pictures in virtually every blog that you post. Not only does it provide a visual to the words you've written, but it also helps carry your reader through the text. The mantra, "a picture tells a thousand words" is so true. Don't rob your reader of the unspoken words you can convey through a simple photograph.
Here is how you add pictures to your Adventures In Missions (AIM) or World Race blog page:
1. Put your cursor where you would like to add the photo. Then in the toolbar, click on the "Insert Image" icon.
2. A window will pop up like the one below. You can upload a photo from your computer by clicking "browse" in the highlighted box. Doing so will upload it to your blog's photo album. You can also insert the URL address of a photo by pasting it in the box that says "URL".
3. You can adjust the layout of the photo in the highlighted box, add a border, change the color of the border, or adjust the size of the photo. Once you are done selecting the preferences on your picture, click "insert".
4. Your picture in your blog will look similar to what is shown below.
5. You can center the picture by selecting the photo and then clicking the "align center" button the top of the toolbar.
